yesterday was pui mun's birthday. had a great laugh. a tear or two was shed. was cool that we managed to make her cry. i'm actually supposed to be doing my maths homework but...what the heck, felt like blogging about pui mun's birthday celebration.
we went shopping for her present after going to my former skool's sports day. i went to support my cheer squad ~HOLLABACK~ they were awesome although i felt that the routine was a bit too short and everything went by in a flash. but nevertheless, i was very proud of them. they had their million dollar smiles on and charmed the crowd away. i was actually very nervous for them. it felt like i was the one who was going to perform in front of hundreds of ppl. my palms were sweating and my heart was beating super fast. so weird. like maternal instinct. like watching my babies shine. but they were great and I AM PROUD OF HOLLABACK!!! "Hollaback's a superstar, super that is what we are, SUPER, YEA!!!"
right, let's get back on track. i actually drove all the to 1 utama which is a 1st for me cause the furthest i have been to is probably to church but that doesn't really count cause my parents were in the car. but i actually drove all the way there with my friends, winnie, karine and shee ann. that was history in the making in the story of my life book so i'm glad i had them to share it with. we went to a thai restaurant (forgot the name) and had yummy, yummy tom yam and then continued shopping again. i managed to spend all of the $1oo in my purse in one day. that was b-a-d. i didnt dare tell my parents about it so till today they don't know how much i spent. there's this saying that goes something like this: what they don't noe wont hurt them (???) i think. what did i buy? i bought 2 tops. i actually bought 1 but cause shee ann wanted to go to the pink pussycat to get a top i ended up buying 1 too. it's all ur fault shee ann!!! we could have gone home already if it weren't for u!!! but i can only blame myself for not having any self-control...
anyhoo, pui mun's birthday was celebrated at cable car in pyramid. we actually planned to go to this japanese restaurant at 1 utama but it was too far and costly so we went to pyramid instead. after dinner, we went to pui mun's place to suprise her with a video and cake. she actually cried while watching the video we made for her. it was really sweet. the whole day was really sweet. i'm glad we managed to pull it all off...
now all i have to do is wait for someone to throw me a surprise party...!
