but this really isn't a break is it? i have tonnes to do.

on the other hand, i have something to look forward to. which makes it much easier on the mind. because my head literally spins just thinking of the workload laid out in front of me.

i have to say that ever since stepping foot into university, simplicity has become a luxury.

marketing assignment comes to mind.

1% assignment and we arts student think its a 1000 word essay. i have never heard of a one page assignment until i stepped foot into marketing lecture. wtf the major assignment is 1000 words. WHAT THE HELL?!

simple questions get me thinking "this must be a trick question. where got so easy wan?"

mana tau, IT IS that simple.

arts has complicated my once simple life.

foreign invasion

this thing is so foreign i'm gonna explode just using it.

i have no idea how certain things work and there is no effin' manual that teaches you how to use certain things. bloody effin' annoying!

but that said, it is very pretty. ho-hum.

i went for the One Life exhibition and i have to say that it is very impressive. i actually almost felt like i was in india.

i didnt take any pictures because i didnt bother to wtf.

basically, there are 3 stories of people who are infected or living with people who have HIV.

when we enter the exhibition, we are given an mp3 which would guide us on our journey. we will follow in the footsteps of one child. i got jothi from india. there is one from cambodia and another from........*i have no idea*

and these are true stories. which is somewhat disturbing because those affected are children. innocent children. directly or indirectly. i came out of the exhibition HIV- because Jothi was not infected. but that doesn't make it better because both her parents were HIV+ and so was her 2 younger siblings. her parents died when she was 10 and she had to be the responsible adult and care for her younger siblings.

i stepped into her life. saw where she worked. where she lived. and i was in the clinic getting tested with her. it's scary actually thinking about it. in the exhibition they had a clinic and a volunteer playing doctor. our fate came in the form of a stamp on our hands. i was actually feeling slightly nervous thinking what i was gonna get because i became jothi. i was feeling what she was feeling.

and then there were photos of people infected with HIV. and it was heartbreaking seeing so many young children infected with it. a picture really paints a thousand words.

caller said yes.

then she started to ask me something.

the caller then asked, are you talking to someone?

yasmin was like.."yeaa...she's right next to me"

caller says "i ONLY see you"

AM I DEAD? CAN YASMIN ONLY SEE ME???

money talks

the most exciting thing happened yesterday.

my fam and i were on our way to the club. my dad made an illegal turn. suddenly a horn starts honking.

whadoyouknow, it's the police.

"ohhh...quick quick hide all your money and keep only a 5 in your wallet"

teehee. so exciting. i was about to experience something i heard many stories about. i was also looking out for the 'anti-rasuah' badge. na-da. he didn't have it. go figure!

and so, the conversation began. i was laughing on the inside. waiting for him to say it. and he did! "whoaaa...it's happening!" and it happened.

he gave you the option. pay or summon?

and he had the nerve to say "jgn tinggi sangat. di celah-celah ya"

"HAHA. OMG!"

seriously! shameless. but it was very fun to watch.

and before he left, "lain kali, jgn buat lagi ya"

respek!

and so, that was the most exciting thing that happened.
