from hardly ever going to summit to going there 2 days in a row.
beats eating at the same ol' coffee shop almost everyday tho.

so here are some pics from the roadshows. finally.

these were taken in terangganu. a VERY memorable trip. you'll find out why soon enough.
this trip marked my first time being in a public university. eye-opening experience. i am now truly and utterly grateful for what i have.

we began our journey at 10.40am. was told to be at the office at 7.30am cause we were to leave at 8am. r-i-g-h-t. once a malaysian, always a malaysian. we arrived at terengganu around 5 something. bear in mind it was a 7 hour journey. had lunch at mcdonald's. ate the bubur ayam for the very first time in my entire life because of my sore throat.

checked into the hotel. then went to set up at UMT. dinner became supper because the food came around 10 something. the most wonderful thing was they had 2 different types of fried rice. one was with fried chicken the other was normal. me and ching yee went to the ladies to wash our hands and when we came back, all that was left was the normal fried rice. hmph!

our meal time and sleeping totally screwed up during the trip. we didnt eat at the right times. dinner became supper. lunch became tea time. the orchestra was in full swing. and the best thing is, i was so hungry that i became full. my stomach went through one full cycle. O_o

we left the university around 12 something. i probably had about 3 hours of sleep before i had to wake up for the roadshow. all in a days work.

the main entrance of the GEGAR U! Unity Fest.

the event

the malaysian storybook booth. i helped in setting those comps up aite. damn proud. i now know how to properly set up a computer.

the message boxes.

the sifu and his disciples

work of art

my partner in crime.

we were in charge of the information booth. the students just queued up and walloped the brochures. like in primary school where you queued up for everything. O_0

the unity truck

l-r : the boss, the editor, the sifu cum driver

the gallery.

the gallery looks damn nice rite? you wouldn't believe the amount of screwing is needed to achieve that aite. ALOT. and i mean ALOT. and NOT only that, it's bloody painful. and bloody heavy. building it and demolishing it, fu-yoh! nuff said.

the maze. everyone loved this.

the unity board. all you gotta do is paint the picture using your thumb.

AND FINALLY.....
uh-oh! trouble looms ahead. as can be seen from the above picture, the hood is opened. which can mean one thing, CAR TROUBLE!
it was really exciting. go figure la, car breakdown, and here i am excited. wtf. that's aron by the way and half of shelly in purple. my editor and jeffrey are in the back.

supposed to have dinner at 8.30pm at whatever rest stop we could find.

manatau, 4 jam kemudian baru kita makan malam. 0_O

and dont get me started on toilet breaks. the journey there and back, it was only me and ching yee that asked for the toilet breaks. -___-"
the rest aren't human. or they have one hell of a bladder.
i bet that if we didn't ask for the toilet break on the way home, we won't have had dinner. wait..supper i mean. O_o

anyways, guess where we broke down? at genting sempah. it was frickin' cold man. practically freezing as can be seen thru benjamin who's hugging himself to keep warm.

AND FINALLY FINALLY...wtf.

our ride home! according to joel and jeff, the insides of the tow truck is like a tank. hmmm..
i wouldn't know cos i was in the van..sleeping. actually, more like knocked out. gotta agree with anrie, the exhaust fumes from the van probably knocked me out. O_o

our 7 hour ride home turned into 10 hours. supposed to reach home about 3am but ended up reaching home around 6am. i spent about 3 hours being unconscious in a towed van.

that was probably the highlight of the entire trip. who gets to say that they got towed back home rite?

priceless.

check out ching yee's blog for a more detailed version of the terengganu trip.

thats it for my post on my terengganu trip.
