xmas shopping!!

i went xmas shopping with my mum at one utama today. bought stuff for relatives. had fun choosing clothes 4 my 2 cousins. so many cute dresses and tops at zara. they even had these cute sparkly shoes. they would really really look adorable on a lil' girls feet. and the dresses!! sweet!! if only they had them in my size....
we then had tea at ms.read's deliCIOUS.kinda on the pricey side but it's oh-so-delicious! i had a chocolate brownie. my gawd...it was sinful i tell u...the amount of chocolate sauce they gave u! ooh-la-la...my mum had scones..tat was really delightful...so delicate and soft!*yums* and we shared a shepherds pie. *double yummy* i really liked the salad tat came along wif the pie. too die for. but tat's bcos of the dressing la.i mean..a salad tastes good bcos of the dressing. without the dressing, blah.practically eating leaves!
on the way in to ms.read's deliCIOUS, i saw tony eusuff walk out from it. u noe him?? i was like 'mum, tats tony eusuff', and she was like 'WHO???'...-__-"
kay lah...not anyone wud noe who the heck he is anyways...but if u watched local malay series, u wud noe who he is.i'm not saying that i always watch local malay series. i only watch them when there's nothing else interesting to watch.har har har...there goes the "suppport the local industry"

on saturday, winnie had a brilliant idea of baking cookies. we were plannin on going shopping (wat else is new) but due to transportation probs and us getting bored wif the shopping malls around(gag me...mv,1u,sp) the thot of baking sounded....different.
i m the 1st to admit tat of all my 18 years, i have only baked once and tat wasn't really me doin all the work.let's juz say mummy dearest was very very helpful *wink*wink*
but this time..i did do something...not much since we bought cookies tat had everything in it.all we had to do was add butter and eggs and put it in the oven.but even then..we didnt really get cookies.we had cakies(cake n cookies, get it??).
let's juz say tat our cookies didn't turn out the way we wanted them too. nevertheless, it tasted yummy! ever tried havin soft cookies?? but it did smell like famous amos cookies...*slurps*
we also baked muffins. kiwi muffins. never hear b4 rite?? kiwi muffins sounds so blardy strange. but its actually kinda interesting. refreshin. due to some technical problems wif the microwave the 1st and 2nd batch of muffins turned out like cupcakes.so we had kiwi cupcakes. only after mastering the frickin microwave did we get the intended kiwi muffin.

looks can be deceiving. it looks so yummy (melted chocolates....yums!) but tasted like...nothing!

all the chocolate did was make our bananas and marshmallows taste warm.

after all the baking, we had campbell's mushroom soup n garlic bread 4 dinner. tats it 4 dinner u ask??? on some sort of diet izit?? try havin lots and lots of buttered chocolate chip cookie b4 dinner. makes u sick i tell ya..

damn muak man. even lookin at it makes me sick rite now (muz b bcos we put too much butter in it...like wtf does one stick of butter mean)

i want my own jamie oliver!! someone who can cook 4 me!! any takers?? tee-hee....

the unexpected call

i received a very unexpected phone call juz now. i mean...nobody calls at 12 something in the nite rite???

when i heard who it was, i was shocked!!! last person i was expecting ever to call. heck, never would i have expected it. we only chat bcos of the distance and time difference.

really great to hear the caller's voice. talked for about 40 minutes. i found out that i'm actually funny...hehehe..who would imagine that?? i can make people laugh!! har har har...*ego getting big* i'm pretty hilarious, i think...tee-hee *betul betul tak malu man*

i don't think i can say "oh la la" without thinkin of the story the caller told me which totally cracked me up...

for the past 9 months, breakfast has been that. if ur like me, eatin at 7 in the morning is juz a tad too much for the stomach to handle.

also no more of 3 hours back to back of classes. where i wud literally starve during the final hour cos breakfast was so many hours back. no more feelin sleepy at 10 sumthing in the morning. where it was a constant battle to keep myself awake but through sheer determination and the fear of being caught by the lecturer who ironically actually sleeps in his/her last class, i sometimes manage to learn a thing or two.

goodbye mufy..it has been a great (yea rite, who the heck m i kiddin???) 9 months. gonna miss u...*sniggers*

and....i have to say....i'm pleasantly pleased with it!

karine is such a big fan of tako-tako tat she was practically in tears when it bounced out of her stick and onto the ground...she was so sad and miserable tat we (me, winnie and sook yan) had to practically plan a funeral for the tako-tako...

we even had a moment of silence for the dearly beloved tako-tako...

may the tako-tako rest in peace...

thursday was mufy's sharity day...and look at what i got...a tattoo!!not a real wan la...my parents would kill me..isn't it pweety...

and there is sam at the dunkin booth. u can c stan at the side with the ball..unfortunately, he didnt manage to dunk sam. it was rathi who did it on her 1st throw. not bad, rathi!!! haha...

overall...it was a fun day cos classes was only half an hour....tee-hee!!

imagine this...49 years ago on this very date, malaya was given it's independence after years and years of colonilization (shit....this is how u spell it rite??? rite???)

citizens of malaya can finally breathe a sigh of relief bcos they r no longer under the power of the british. imagine the joy of the ppl at that time (which would most probably be our grandparents time....so watcha waitin for??? go on now...run off to ur grandparents and ask them abt that very very meaningful day)

anyways, we shud be thankful as we are living in a multi-racial country where we do not colour discriminate...where we celebrate each and everyone's festivals..and the food is delicious....!!!

only here in malaysia is the place where u can find chinese, indian, malay, western restaurants all in the same street..and where the food actually taste good...

omg....wat have i bcome??? i'm so bloody patriotic today....

oh well...not everyday this happens...only once a year....

the other week, we had to do our malaysian studies project so we chose to do on sarawak..a few of our group mates were from sarawak so we had authentic sarawakian delicacies...unfortunately i didnt manage to try any...they were authentic bcos they were airflown in fr sarawak in the afternoon..thanks to iggy's mum....!!

the exhibition was held for 3 days in conjuction wif merdeka month...

we had a really great leader in sam....he had a great vision for our group and we managed to do what he planned so 2 thumbs up to sam!!!
unfortunately, sam now has denggi so will be praying for him....
