*sigh*
why am i so busy? wtf.
went for my ftv tutorial today and guess what? i get to write on articles related to *drumroll please* (wtf) sex and the city, the sopranos and buffy the vampire slayer. fu-yoh! this is like the only course (that i know off la) that actually requires me to watch tv. O_0
and it says in fine print below my unit guide that it is advisable to watch the entire season of the chosen series. *weeeeeeeeeeee*
but, as like last semester, analysing movies and tv shows are not as fun as it seems. as in pressing play, pause, rewind, forward repeatedly. not my idea of fun. oh-wells, all in the name of academics!
and today at int, almost had a slight confusion as to what class i was in. for a moment it felt like i was in jrn instead. O_o
however, despite the boring lecture, his tutorials are always fun. keeps you on your toes!
here's to having a great second semester!
and omg! my campus is HUGE!
granted i didnt actually walk the entire campus. the only spot i know considerably well is the cafeteria area, lecture halls in block6 and the library. and i haven't even been up the other 2 or 3 levels in the library. oh, how i could i forget, the carpark of course, gotta know the carpark. i'm gonna dread it when they start charging us. moneysuckers!!

'twas my last day at youthmalaysia.com
and i'm missing going there already.
what did i do on my last day?
wrote a review on Transformers (frickin' awesome!the movie i mean).
went for lunch - tastier ever, thanks to my lover *wink*wink*
stepped on a dead rotten rat (unintentionally!) *yucks*
electricity went out after lunch and came back on when it was time to go home *hahaha!*
brainstormed on questions for quiz to be given out during events *i feel empowered* one of the answer we had in there..HILARIOUS! *hope joanne approves* nyek nyek nyek...
planning on activities for an event next month *hopefully i get to be a part of it*
I MISS YM!!!
all i can say is that i am super duper glad i applied for the job. i usually take my own sweet time in thinking if i should apply or not but i did not hesitate on this one.
when i went for the interview, i thought i flunked it cos they didn't offer me the job one week later.
i gave up hope then. it's alrite. at least i tried. no wondering what if.
then, i got the phone call. hallelujah!!!
the rest is history...
i guess what made working in YM fun and exciting is the people, my colleagues.
great bunch of people!
awesomeness...
and i met my lover! so glad i found you!! *LMAO* only a phone call away sayangku...
i caught a glimpse of what the working world entails.
and i'm glad to say that what i'm studying now is the right thing career wise for me. writing, events and all that jazz...i totally love!
now, instead of waking up early to go to work, i gotta wake up early to go to class.
can't wait to see everyone and get back to routine again...

from hardly ever going to summit to going there 2 days in a row.
beats eating at the same ol' coffee shop almost everyday tho.
so here are some pics from the roadshows. finally.
these were taken in terangganu. a VERY memorable trip. you'll find out why soon enough.
this trip marked my first time being in a public university. eye-opening experience. i am now truly and utterly grateful for what i have.
we began our journey at 10.40am. was told to be at the office at 7.30am cause we were to leave at 8am. r-i-g-h-t. once a malaysian, always a malaysian. we arrived at terengganu around 5 something. bear in mind it was a 7 hour journey. had lunch at mcdonald's. ate the bubur ayam for the very first time in my entire life because of my sore throat.
checked into the hotel. then went to set up at UMT. dinner became supper because the food came around 10 something. the most wonderful thing was they had 2 different types of fried rice. one was with fried chicken the other was normal. me and ching yee went to the ladies to wash our hands and when we came back, all that was left was the normal fried rice. hmph!
our meal time and sleeping totally screwed up during the trip. we didnt eat at the right times. dinner became supper. lunch became tea time. the orchestra was in full swing. and the best thing is, i was so hungry that i became full. my stomach went through one full cycle. O_o
we left the university around 12 something. i probably had about 3 hours of sleep before i had to wake up for the roadshow. all in a days work.
the malaysian storybook booth. i helped in setting those comps up aite. damn proud. i now know how to properly set up a computer.
we were in charge of the information booth. the students just queued up and walloped the brochures. like in primary school where you queued up for everything. O_0
l-r : the boss, the editor, the sifu cum driver
AND FINALLY.....
uh-oh! trouble looms ahead. as can be seen from the above picture, the hood is opened. which can mean one thing, CAR TROUBLE!
it was really exciting. go figure la, car breakdown, and here i am excited. wtf. that's aron by the way and half of shelly in purple. my editor and jeffrey are in the back.
supposed to have dinner at 8.30pm at whatever rest stop we could find.
manatau, 4 jam kemudian baru kita makan malam. 0_O
and dont get me started on toilet breaks. the journey there and back, it was only me and ching yee that asked for the toilet breaks. -___-"
the rest aren't human. or they have one hell of a bladder.
i bet that if we didn't ask for the toilet break on the way home, we won't have had dinner. wait..supper i mean. O_o
anyways, guess where we broke down? at genting sempah. it was frickin' cold man. practically freezing as can be seen thru benjamin who's hugging himself to keep warm.
AND FINALLY FINALLY...wtf.
our ride home! according to joel and jeff, the insides of the tow truck is like a tank. hmmm..
i wouldn't know cos i was in the van..sleeping. actually, more like knocked out. gotta agree with anrie, the exhaust fumes from the van probably knocked me out. O_o
our 7 hour ride home turned into 10 hours. supposed to reach home about 3am but ended up reaching home around 6am. i spent about 3 hours being unconscious in a towed van.
that was probably the highlight of the entire trip. who gets to say that they got towed back home rite?
priceless.
check out ching yee's blog for a more detailed version of the terengganu trip.
thats it for my post on my terengganu trip.
p/s: this could possibly be my longest post ever. *claps*

remember my previous post about me not really liking my job.
scratch that.
i'm actually loving this job.
everyone is like under 25 so there's no need to be all formal and stuff.
we dress casually to work and we joke around in the office.
and i get to write articles and have my work published. pretty awesome stuff.
really glad i applied for this internship.
and i'm so gonna miss it when i stop next week.
classes will be as usual again.
happy happy joy joy.
assignments again. late nights again. wonderful.
loads to write about my roadtrip to terengganu and malacca and my movie experience at IMAX watching TRANSFORMERS (i'm a fan. i want the toys and tshirt) but that would be for later. when i'm not so busy trying to convince everyone that wentworth miller IS NOT GAY!!!

i've been busy. if anyone has been wondering.
busy doing what you might ask.
lalala.
OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i don't know where i have been for the past [i dunno how many] years/days/months but what with me being such a tv freak and all, i have never EVER watched PRISON BREAK. HOW is that frickin' possible???
but i thank my lucky stars cos i now have in my posession the entire season 1 and 2. *Hallelujah!*
and it's been such a joy. =)
i cannot begin to describe how much i LOVE prison break. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!
anyways, i'm a very busy working girl right now. not that i'm busy climbing the corporate ladder or anything like that. but i'm busy la.
just gotta say though.
soft hands.
very. soft.
nice.
by the way i gotta say wat a fcked up day it was yesterday morning (if u wanna be technical with me then it was the morning before yesterday. fine. tuesday morning to be exact).
stoopid motorist. i could have commited murder right there and then. in daylight.
driving has most certainly changed me.
i'm like dr. jekyll and mr. hyde or was it dr.hyde and mr.jekyll?
anyways, u catch my drift.
i have 2 personalities when it comes to driving.
screw with me on the road, you'll get the evil, foul mouthing, vulgar machine propaganding mr.hyde/mr.jekyll (the doctor's the good guy, rite?)
i shall not elaborate.
my blood will boil and then i'll probably burst/erupt. definitely not a sight to behold. and SO definitely not worth it.
the joys of driving.
tra la la la.
busy doing what you might ask.

you wouldn't guess where i am right now.
i dont wanna say. incase someone finds out.
but let's just say i'm having the time of my life here.
really.
*please...save me*
this is the most boring and redundant thing i have ever done in my entire lifetime.
but i keep telling myself that it is for the experience. it will look good for my reference. i hope!
i'm gonna remain cryptic about it. don't wanna expose myself. bah! like anyone's gonna come after me.
but i have to say. i can't see myself working a 9-5 job. really. it sucks.
drains the life out of a person. nobody talks. all they do is just stare at their computer screens. i don't even know if they're really typing away some important documents or just chatting away on msn or...they're like me blogging. haha.
at least i know the girl next to me IS working.
she's busy making important phone calls at least.
but the other 3. hmmmm.....*i wonder*
i don't wanna complain. i want to be thankful for having this oppurtunity. i DO.
so i'm just gonna wait and see.
wait for the boss of me to give me tasks. oh joy!
besides the workload or lack thereof *sniggers* i am starting to think that i'm getting paid to go online and just surf.
that doesn't sound too bad rite. WRONG!
i rather do it at home. for free. cos then i could eat and sleep whenever i want.
now, i'm so sleepy that i'm actually thinking of faking a stomache ache so that i can run off to the toilet and shut my eyes.
or....i could fake a cough.
*cough*cough*
but...i'm not that mean. i'm just gonna suck it up. put a smile on my face. and pretend to be busy doing something productive.
*type type type*
oohhh yea..allocate is open. time to plan my timetable again.
and i'm torn. should i take marketing or television studies as my elective???
pls vote. wtf.
brrrr....it's freezing in here!

i'm so proud of myself today.
*guess what i did?*
go on....
k la..i tell you.
i reverse park today! *wee*
*shaddap la u reverse parking pro's*
it's not easy ok.
and no. this wasn't my first time parking in reverse. it's my 3rd.
the first 2 times was because i was forced to.
but today, i did it voluntarily. and then i gave myself a pat in the back.
so proud siuutt. *i must reward myself* =)
and you know what?
i'm beginning to like reverse parking. i don't fear reverse parking anymore.
i shall go on parking reverse from now on.
and when i'm sick of reverse parking, i shall do side parking.
yup. i still can't side park.
i still need to count the poles and how many times i have to turn the steering wheel left and right.
but...but..but...WAIT A MINUTE!
there are no frickin' poles for me to count.
HOW?? MACAM MANA??
aiyah..
simple la.
no need to side park.
i shall avoid side parking like the plague.
no side parking for life! pls support my 'no side parking' cause! ur support means the world to me.
WTF!
triple dots
sweat

3 down 1 to go.
the hardest paper has been done and over with.
and i'm depressed.
and elated at the same frickin' time.
thinking about it makes me depressed.
really. i should have just tembak. but no. i wanted to read through it again to make sure i tembak the correct answer. but i didn't. now it's blank. *hangs self*
oh wells. what to do.
i'm just glad it's over.
worrying about the results is another thing all together.
but that's for next time.
i'm gonna miss dr.helen. i think.
it was an interesting class.
ww1, ww2, total war, cold war, korean war, versailles treaty, wilson woodrow's fourteen points, churchill's 'iron curtain' speech, hilter's nazism, mussolini's fascism, communism, liberal democracy, imperialism, nationalism, the berlin conference and many many more = YOU SHALL BE MISSED. and i mean it...
from the bottom of my broken heart.
there's just a thing or two i'd like you to noe.
you were my first love.
i never knew love.
till there was youuuuuu.
from the bottom of my broken heart.
sorry. i digress.
it's just that when i typed from the bottom of my broken heart, britney's voice filled my head.
haha.
but int1010 was an interesting class. i finally knew why hitler was hated. and why ww1 and ww2 started. all my life learning history in high school and i never knew.
hmmm...WHAT did i learn in high school history?
moving on.
ivie msn-ed me and told me she finished downloading one tree hill episode 20.
OMG!!! i want...

2 down 2 more to go!
bye-bye COM1010. it was great knowing you.
thanks to you, i cannot enjoy watching a movie for its entertainment value. i have become critical. and i can't stop it. so thank you COM1010. you've been wonderful.
anyways, i just read from people.com that isaiah washington (the dr. preston burke) is no longer gonna be in grey's anatomy.

spent my whole afternoon at the foyer discussing media studies. such joy!
the discussing. hmm..not so much. mostly talking. thats what you get when u put a bunch of people together. we talked about everything and anything except of course, media studies. *wonderful*
anyways, went for dinner at subang parade.
and whilst waiting for the food i noticed the table behind/opposite had 2 old mans *possibly about 50 or 60* and three women.
now in the beginning, i paid no attention.
i thought they were a family. one woman looked matured so i assumed it was the daughter and then the other 2 looked possibly like that matured woman's daughters and i thought the two old man was the grandfather or father lah. whatever la. family having dinner. nothing unusual.
my eyes kept looking at that table. normal la. people watching.
food still not here yet.
and so i looked at that table again. and again.
now..i noticed that the old man kept leaning towards the "grand daughter".
and i thought to myself, "wah..grandfather so loving arr"
this happened quite a few times.
then i began to get suspicious.
at this point, i began to look closely at the women.
then it hit me.
i said loudly to my dad
"those are china women arr?"
"yea"
O_O
dirty old mans weeiii!!!
now that i realized this, they began to be touchy feely.
the couple nearest to my table.
even the other couple.
kesian the other woman though. nobody to touch. can only watch. wtf.
from that moment of realization onwards, my eyes were glued to that table watching
*eyes wide open*
i'm wondering though. those old men so desperate siut.
guess they don't wanna be lonely.
unless those useless bastards are cheating on their spouse.
tsk tsk tsk.
but who am i to judge.
i don't know head or tail about their relationship.
i could possibly be reading the entire thing out of context.*whoa..media studies. so proud. wtf*
dahlah, aku nak belajar ni.
the discussing. hmm..not so much. mostly talking. thats what you get when u put a bunch of people together. we talked about everything and anything except of course, media studies. *wonderful*
anyways, went for dinner at subang parade.
and whilst waiting for the food i noticed the table behind/opposite had 2 old mans *possibly about 50 or 60* and three women.
now in the beginning, i paid no attention.
i thought they were a family. one woman looked matured so i assumed it was the daughter and then the other 2 looked possibly like that matured woman's daughters and i thought the two old man was the grandfather or father lah. whatever la. family having dinner. nothing unusual.
